About
As fourth-generation leaders in the pest control industry, Sean and Justin Knox carry forward a legacy of integrity, service, and community commitment that began in the 1920s. What started as their great-grandfather Forrest H. Knox’s small pest control venture in Atlanta—with a leather satchel, roach powder, and mice bait—has evolved into one of the largest, most trusted pest control companies in the Southeast.
The modern chapter of Knox Pest Control began in 1995 when their father, John Knox, reignited the family business alongside his sons. Justin joined full-time in 1997 after graduating from Troy State University, and Sean followed in 2000 after earning his BBA from Georgia Southern University. Sean later completed his MBA at Baylor University in 2020. Together, they have upheld their family’s tradition of excellence while expanding operations with vision and purpose.
Today, Knox Pest Control serves Georgia, Alabama, North Florida, South Carolina, and Mississippi through 18 locations, employing more than 225 team members and serving over 90,000 customers. Their approach blends modern business strategy with traditional Southern values: prioritize people, invest in relationships, and deliver exceptional service every time.
